Guy says he had it Professionally weighed and measured
WTH is a professional weight and measure team???
Do they drug test you for the Star Tournament, oops I forgot he was not registered for the Star.

Solid #9
"I doubt you know what you're talking about. I weighed it with a guy who was on a professional weight and measure team. We used two different scales. I also saw a couple 6 lb at the taxidermist, they weren't even close to the size of this one! It's okay though, I'd be jealous if i were you too. Here's a better pic with a little more clarity."

Chris Havoc 07-27-2010 03:54 PM

I've never caught one anywhere close to that size, so congrats to the guy whether its 5 or 9....

LaAngler 07-27-2010 04:12 PM

he says its a 28" fish which looks about right... but 9# in july? that means in may it was a 10 or bigger at 28" and i just dont buy that

Big Kahunaz 07-27-2010 04:37 PM

Well, whatever the weight is.....he coulda given himself a good shot at winning a boat but was too cheap to pay the 50$. Now he has plenty of time to kick himself in the arse. :beathorse:

youmyboyblue 07-27-2010 04:41 PM

Pics can be deceiving. I don't care what his fish weighed, however I have a pic of a 5.3 that you would think is a school trout from the photo.

trophytroutman 07-27-2010 08:02 PM

Looks about 7 to me.I got a 9 hanging on my wall and it looks bigger than the one in this pic.But looks can be decieving.Nice fish anyway.

BArmand 07-27-2010 08:39 PM

Nice fish.

The other day I saw a 6 year old boy land a 29 inch trout on a tiny little pole he put in the rod holder. Needless to say, the men in the boat were freaking out when he got it to the boat.
