congrats man, i smoked from 15 yrs old to 25 yrs old and now i am 35, picked up a new bad habbit about 5 years ago (skoal) and can't seem to shake the habbit, i tried to quit but can't go a half a day without, it is harder to quit dipping then it was for me to quit smoking.

I might could quit if I'd stay out of the Sports Bar. Those idiots make me nervous. :smokin:

Hol;y CRAP!!! You were prego for 6 years???!!!! Wow that must have been one hell of a birth!!! Bet you junk is still broke after that!! HAhahaha.............I'm kidding of course...........

I need to quit to.....I wake up everyday coughing up a storm...........I'm sure drinking the way I do doesnt help, but smoking adds to the fire............

Thats the main reason I quit. Woke up coughing out of control and told myself enough is enough! The first 2 weeks was hard, but now I cant stand the smell of one.

Backwards Kid's Mom 07-29-2010 12:31 AM

Let me clarify....quit, got preg, stayed that way for 9 mos and didn't smoke again for 6 yrs...lol! The first few weeks are the hardest. I got in a habit of sitting on my back porch and chilling with a few cigs after work...missing that right now and trying to find other things to keep me busy. Drinking is the other trigger and I'll have a few rough weekends, but in the end it'll be worth it! Best of luck to all the quitters out there! :)

Is it October YET? 07-29-2010 07:35 AM

Salty you have to quit smoking if you need that back fusion. Nicotine will prevent your back from healing like it is supposed to. Don't even waste your time with it if you won't quit smoking.

Dink 07-29-2010 07:50 AM

He tried awhile back......didn't work.

Mike, you quit yet?

I'm going pick up a scrip for chantix today.....I'm not as strong as you Ryan......

Took the chantix and had no Ill side effects. Problem was I didn't take it long enough I think. I put em down for 5 months and then stress. Picked em back up and it
like I never stopped!

I'm about ready to go for round two! I felt great without em and my wife wasn't constantly on my arse...not about smoking anyway! Lol

Asterisk-Rich 07-29-2010 09:31 AM
