what resturant in laffy???

taking the girlfriend to see brad paisley in laffy saturday. what are some GOOD resturants where i could take her

Raymond 02-09-2011 05:25 PM

Pete's, Charlie "G's", Cafe Vermilionville
If you are really trying to impress, I would hit Charlie G's and make reservations.
Another one in Breaux Bridge is Cafe Des Amis, great food/atmosphere, and very quite.

fishinpox 02-09-2011 06:01 PM

food is something i dont mind spending $ on as long as its something i cant make better at the comfort of my own home. now payin 50 bucks for a steak ....screw that but i dont mind payin for a good meal. we just ate at coyote blues in br last weekend the steak/shrimp fajitas and cheviche was on point prolly the best fajitas ive had in a few years but i can tell you its not a good meal to eat b4 a concert because i barelyy made it home w/o sprayin mud in my britches

Finfeatherfur 02-09-2011 06:03 PM

Dude, if you want to impress her - take this advice!

PHARES -Ambassador @ Johnston St. , right before Lafayette Shooters. Order the flame grilled oysters and the house wine. She will rock your world and that is just the appetizer.

They had some good names thrown at you, but this will be perfect for a concert night!

Blue Dog is my favorite place to eat in Lafayette. A close second would have to be Phare's. Like FFF said the oysters are the bomb and so is alot of other things on the menu. Drinks and food gonna run u right around $100-120 at either place for u and your girl.

specktator 02-09-2011 07:37 PM

But I forget Pox u don't drink so knock off about $25

Asterisk-Rich 02-09-2011 07:44 PM

The Italian Food Market in Fiesta Village shopping center is amazing Italian food. The dude that owns it is kinda strange but he is straight Italian. Make sure you call ahead of time because it is a small restaurant, but trust me you will not be disapointed

Thats my favorite thing at Bone fish.

My wife is obsessed with Zeas but i dont like anything there but the duck epmanadas. My wife gets that chicken shwarma crud and it smells like AZZZZZZZ, but all the cosmos she drinks makes up for it !

Zea's has a great New York strip as well...

Copeland's has a good filet also. With all the cold weather we've been having, you can't find a better seafood gumbo than Don's Seafood. Just the right consistency and has that wonderful roux flavor!
