First ..you have to set some rules...

If you dont fish more than 3 to 4 days a month
If you have less then 10 years saltwater fishing experience
If you spend more hours on Saltycajun than you do fishing
If you dont have a boat
If you live with your parents
If you are a weekend warrior keep you comments to your self

Please do not reply to this Thread!!!!

Note.... Not bashing a weekend warrior...It means you spend more of your time working and providing for your family than on the water fishing...Which means good job!!!!
*** Im just lucky to only work half a year***** Which means over 1000 man hours on the water

I've got a 10' custom wood flat. I call it the haynie jr. Complete with plastic cleats. I've fished at least 20 different ponds around the house about 4 days a week. And catch at least 20 fish a day.

21 haynie vs 22 gravios. Head on collision test. I'll even let u wear a helmet even though I don't think it could possibly mess that mug up any more.

Haynie Z21 with 250xs would beat a Lake and Bay 22'

In rough water a monohull will beat a go fast cat hull.

ha! coonpear *****:*****: them books a soild !!:) thats one thing i dont mess with or try to beat is taxes i couldnt deal with the nervous feelin of getting an audit and having to worry. i pay 1/4ly and as much as it sux writing them checks i can sleep at night

as much as i like to bust w's balls and talk crap about the haynie , ive seen it perform in some pretty nasty stuff , if i was to buy a brand new boat it would be a 22' black jack, or a 24 haynie HO , personally i like a capped boat but not having that cap gives you a ton more space .
