Polly Wogs

What good are they ? Caught about 90 in a trap this weekend and threw them in a ditch by the house. My grandpaw said their good for catching bigger cats in the creek on limb lines. Anyone heard of this ?

Smallest of the 90 was about 4" and all were fat as heck.

weedeater 05-02-2011 11:29 AM

mcjaredsandwich 05-02-2011 12:17 PM

I have only known a polly wog to be a big tadpole.

mcjaredsandwich 05-02-2011 12:19 PM

If they are a bunch of big tadpoles, grow them! Then you can have all the live frogs you want for bass bait..

Garfish 05-02-2011 12:20 PM

My Paw Paw called mudcats Polly Wogs.
