yea haynie will be there right now its just me and my brother who fishes once a year but knows what hes doing i hope. Leaving lafayette about 9 a.m. gotta drop the little one off then headed down there gonna leave sunday at 11 try and make it home early for mothers day. Main reason im going is to clean the camp for the next 3 months i will be going every weekend.

I ain't been to the islands since right after Katrina. "There" callin' for 5 kt. winds. Just can't pass that up. What's the best thing to use to remove rust from treble hooks? :rolleyes:

Islands as n the one the only BRETON island??? 50/50 IMO the river is mighty high right now could be muddy out there .... Worth a shot though cuz if it gets any higher it won't b any good for sure

Man, if I can catch 1 trout on a Bomber...I'll be happy. Just so happens that I caught my biggest trout ever on May 6. :) ;)

Anybody got a couple of slots on their boat in the Cocodrie or Breton Sound area? I got the gas! Me and Dad really needing to sneak off for a little fishing! It would have to be Saturday due to Mom's Day being Sunday. If I were to go on Sunday, there wouldn't be a light socket left in my house when I got back!:*****:
