Yeah buddy! Bad part is, I have to put a new frame under it. That's always a pain! I'll be sure to post em up as the "Lego's kit" goes back together!

outcast 05-04-2011 08:09 PM

Glad business is picking up for you!

Tell pops to put the hood on.

southern151 05-04-2011 09:53 PM

Man, self employment is a rollercoaster ride! We starved for a month and, now, I don't know how we're gonna take care of everything! I'm sure glad I passed up this last turnaround they called me for! Lol!!

wtretrievers 05-04-2011 10:05 PM

Looks like a lot of confusion. At least you know what you are doing! Good look with this one..

Lake Chuck Duck 05-09-2011 02:54 PM

I dont know if I would want my truck back after that kind of traumatic experience. Just knowing it was in a million pieces before it was 1 again. I know you do good work though.

longsidelandry 05-09-2011 03:26 PM

Wow, so he's basically keeping the cab and getting new everything else?

Nah man! He's keeping the bed, 3 wheels and a fender too!:*****::*****:

I'll try to post some more pics before I leave today. We've pretty much got everything swapped over to the new frame. Tomorrow, we'll have the motor and tranny under it and hopefully have the cab and bed back on. It's really not that bad. Take a part off and put it back on the new one.

As far as not wanting it back because it had been in so many pieces...It was in more pieces than that once upon a time and, at least this time, it ain't some lazy arse union "hand" putting it together!:smokin:

Coming back together...

Reconstruction at its finest. How many days start to finish?

southern151 05-20-2011 10:00 PM

10 days for us! We got one to go with codes, ac, alignment and airbag.

southern151 05-20-2011 10:01 PM

They gave us 30 days to repair. When we get a hit, we swing for the finish line!

Thanks 2ndamendmant! We appreciate the kind words!

DUCKGOGETTER 05-21-2011 07:31 AM

Man that thing looks great

swglenn 05-21-2011 08:57 AM

Where do you find a new frame? I am surprised the insurance company didn't total it. Good work, it looks brand new.

Nice looking shop also. Is that a living quarters built inside the shop? Is that a paint booth(silver structure) in the corner? That red creeper looks like it has been used a time or two.
Also, did not notice any empty beer cans laying around.

southern151 05-21-2011 01:18 PM

It should have been a total but, Allstate...well, I'll stop there!

Frames are easy to get really. No empty beer cans but there was a full one in my hand! Lol!! The creeper has been a lot more than a creeper in it's day and one, the the office is what you could see and yeah, that's my new booth.

Thanks again guys! We put all of our pride into our work!

longsidelandry 05-21-2011 01:25 PM

Damn good job Corey!

Salty 05-22-2011 12:36 AM

We just fixed one that hit a horse. The front end had to be pressure washed 4 times during the tear down.

Thanks! I don't know how we do it either!:confused: :*****:

I watched the 3 Stooges once and they had a bunch of bolts left over after working on their car so, they put them all in the gas tank. They figured that from there, they'd find their way back to where they belong.

That theory has been working great for me!:*****::shaking:
