Gone shrimpin'!
Well I'll be heading out after work tomorrow to go on my 1st shrimping trip! Heading out with my wife's uncle and a friend in the Vermilion Bay. Hopefully we get to load up!! Anybody have any good advice for a 1st timer?

Drive the boat!!!
I did it once on a buddy of mines boat. Worked 10hrs at my regular job and then headed to Cameron and shrimped til 3am......I was hurtin!!!!!

Sounds like fun...I used to pull a 16' troll net with my grandpaw,but never on a big rig. Lots of fun,but lots of work too. If yall load up give me a ring I will buy some.

Those things used to be my church boots, dancing boots and every day boots. I had winter boots that were full length and my summer boots that were cut at the ankles. I didn't know there were any other kind of foot wear out there.

Lmao..crocs are now my white boots.. I got furry ones for winter(no homo) andd plain for summer. I tend to not blend in with white boots

I like crocs,but I have busted my azz too many times on wet cement with them. I bought some shimano fishing shoes and they are comfortable and alot more grip. http://shimano.fishing-store.us/shim...-fishing-shoes

Crocs make some with a deck sole similar to Sperry's that have a lot better grip than the originals

I bought some that are for restaurant use with the nonslip bottom...I can stand on a algae covered boat ramp and not slip once

Dem 3 and 4 inch hard heads hurt more than the bigger ones. Be very careful around dem
