anyone know how many entries there was?

Little birdie told me a 9.10 was caught this morning. Reg for star not for shoot out.

Would have to see it to believe it....Every year you get a rumor on ShootOut day about a big trout caught...last year it was a 10.lbs...Year before a 10.10...Year Before 9.5lb...but you never see the trout nor does it ever show up on the STAR boards....

As far as I can recall someone knows someone who caught a trout over 9 shootout day....but you never see it

yes 6.4 from cody won. i think that also included the extra 1/2 lb for alive. down year on weight and turnout

i ended up 7th and mine was caught on artificial.....just wanted to clear that up that i wasn't soaking! :D

not sure was kinda curious myself. there wasn't many people there at the weigh-in. smallest group i ever seen at a shootout weigh-in. there was a **** ton of boats on the water though. i know i prob pissed some people off but i wasn't going to idle all the way through Turners to get to the other side. so sorry if anybody was the unlucky ones that i drove past.

how many entries? can we get a top 10 so I can bash Micah for not even weighing in??

Im sure a lot did not bother to weight in....Year before Last...I had a 5.25lb and it was #26 over all....

My fishing partner Chris Reed was like 6th that year with one over 6and half

I think it should be artificial and live separate...

Most of us who fish trout for a sport do not use live bait..... and your tactics and learning does not involved sitting on anchor for 6 hours soaking bait..not going to happen

Josh, entries was over 300 but still have more to be picked up. Turnout was great. Wind was no so bad but the sun more than made up for the wind. Great day to be out on the water. Lots of money was won and also the door prizes was up from previous years. Lots of local tackle shops stepped up and donated lots of baits for the youth division. 4 lifetime fishing licenses was handed out to random drawings for the youth along with a Lowrance HDS 5 was a door prize. The kids racked up getting bait, free shirts to anyone that weighed a fish and also paying the top 20.

Pete's from Lafayette supplied the hamburgers and boy were they good.

Shout out to Raymond for organizing the tournament.

Also got to meet Paul Myers there who was representing with his SaltyCajun shirt and also handing out SaltyCajun stickers- thanks Paul.

I shoot my deer out of the truck under the corn feeder....With my Costa,Columbia shirt,Crocs and Columbia Shorts on......

It was nice meeting you Mr Duhon.

It was a good day, good turnout and some money was raised for a good cause that I think we all believe in. Couldn't ask for much more than that.
