I actually know this cat. He lives in Lafayette. This dude is a character. How about how he calls them, spears them, and then steps on their head with his bare foot.

Haha that is a trip...need to bring him up to north la to my deer lease to help put a dent in the population. Now that you can hunt them at night legally we are setting up some motion lights on the corn feeders. Grab a chair with a ice chest full of cold ones and wait em out. :D

I had a group of about 8 hogs chase me on my four wheeler a few years ago. Took a while to loose them,did not have a gun on me. Now I don't leave the camp without a gun.

Rabid pigs?:eek::eek::eek:

I have had pigs charge while riding trails. Think they were protecting young. Didn't hang around to find out neither did my friend we roasted down the trail.

Wide Open 06-22-2011 02:35 PM

Mommas are bad about charging over their young. Ive been face to face with some 400 + lbers, and they usually run, but I do carry CLYDE every time I walk in the woods. CLYDE=410/45 3in.ch3in.barrel Taurus Judge. "Right Turn Clyde"

Those are sweet guns...been wanting to get one for a while now. triple 000 buckshot will get the job done.

I waited for a while also, but had some extra last year and got it rite before bow season. I love it, because I can load two #6 shot in it for rattlers and cottonmouths wich I see alot, and 3 3in. slugs or 45longs for hogs or crippled deer. I use to carry my babby Glock 40 cal. , and cant tell you how manny snakes I popped wit dat babby, also finished off 3 crippled deer with it. they come in handy when needed. I got to admit though trying to shoot snakes with a babby Glock sometimes meant unloading the clip, wich is costly. The reason I started carring in the woods was about 6 years ago me my father and two friends spotted big cats with long tails on a piece of property we leased. the lady that use to watch out of the fire tower accross the highway years ago had told us she saw them on a regular occurance one black, one blonde. we only saw the blode one in two diffrient spots on 900 acres. One evening deep in the swamp I swore as I prayed (litterally) that it sounded like a young woman being violated and screaming for her life. Freekin scary! from that moment on I entered those woods with and left with my pistol om my side. they also had some of the biggest bob cats out there I'd ever seen.
