20 trout and 2 flounder. Wind was pumping out there. Nice early, then it started blowing.

I'd say, great job!

Great job in these conditions, best report I have heard this weekend.

There really weren't that many boats. It was rather pleasant.

We had mixed numbers with our boats. All ranged from 10 to 30.

I guess there weren't many boats out there today. I'd rather chew rocks than fight that wind all day.

I love high wind day....especially when you get on big trout...2 best days of big trout action I have had were 25 mph winds...

Hate west winds but josh L and I smoked some good fish. With SW winds before...if you can find the big trout on banks. You can have some good days....biggest trout I caught was 30mph

Caught these in 25+ winds.Got beat up goimg out but once we got to the protected shoreline it was on.Nothing huge but lots of 20-24's.

Ya we fought the good fight today only managed 7 trout and a lot by catch had a ribbon fish I hooked jump like four feet it was prety cool

Its calm when you know the right spots to fish and hug the bank....tight:D

few years back for the SFA...Edwards and I fish the tournament in 25mph with gust to 30 and fished topwater the whole day......Plus had a good stringer of fish...

I dont mind wind if I know the big girls are on the bank

nice report, sometimes when the water is still, and then the wind starts blowing thats when I start catching fish, thats how it was for me saturday when I was bass fishing.

Nobody else is, either. :rolleyes: W's judgement of wind speed must be as bad as his guesstimation of trout weights.

I guess if you was on my facebook you could compare trout with Reading but your not :D So until you know what your talking about Please stay in the Children's shopping section..

The top 3 it was more like 15mph with 20mph gust. We were in the same area wade fishing that day. Not sure what wind was doing on the forth but I know were you caught it and you are right any south wind is not really an issue there.

and I dont believe you know where im at....No one was wading that day or in sight of us on all three trips

Well I could say and post the GPS cords but I would not do that to anyone. I go to great lengths to not be seen when wading. It only takes 1 boat to come near you to totally kill your bite.

How big is that fish in the last pic? She looks huge. I got to fish the South bank more to learn some spots for those high wind days.

All on plastics.Hacberry hustlers mainly.

And evis.... That is also 4 different areas..... One was up north...one east and two south.....you only know the south one,,,I promise you was not wading any where around the other 2..... And the bottom pick was a 8.4 and I was the only boat at the landing...winds were gusting to 30 se..

Now that's some nice trout. What was the weight of the last pic. That's a big girl. My bad. How many inches was she. Lol

How do u weigh a " 30 mph" trout...???

He uses that wind thing. That's what he uses to weigh all his fish.

I know were you vertical jig old LNG with 1oz chrome rattletraps.

just barely went 5lbs.Didnt measure that one I guess around 24",I dont measure fish unless fishing tournaments when we are allowed only one fish over 25".
