Well i made the swap today so now to see if it was worth it. Tomorrow is last day of unlimited mobil to mobil and next week unlimited data ends, just incase anyone wants to swap.

dang, i hear ya...i think im about to switch to att....yeah, and pay sprint's ridiculous early termination fee and get in and save a hoot joining in a family plan. It's going to be weird not having unlimited data,minutes,roaming,and a nice phone, but 100 plus a month for one phone ain't what a student needs
what att phones are nice? i see the iphone 3 for 200, 3gs for 19, some android and and some widnows phones...whats good? |
The service at AT&T aint whats good ,at least around where I'm at .

7-31-11 is when centennialwireless in DeRidder switches to Verizon. We already received our new phones in the mail. They sent them 30+ days early for us to put our contacts in and get used to the phone before their activated. Liking the service so far. I work on Ft Polk and i heard service sucks here. We'll have to wait and see.

Are you wanting a smart phone? Several guys I work with have the motorola atrix and like it. The iphone 4 is really nice. I've heard the windows 7 phones are pretty neat but the apps are limited right now. |
att if you like dropped calls or calling and talking to the person and not hearing their reply. when we had verizon....we never had problems
|
I am leaving Sprint when my contract is up too.
Terrible about dropped calls and cutting out. |

Some of you may want to consider T-mobile.Im on the Northshore and have 0 problems,I dont do too much traveling though.It worked fine when I was in Lake Charles and fine at the camp in Meridian.I have unlimited everything on two phones and a third phone for the kids and I pay $145 a month.I have the 3G mytouch and love it.Actually Ive had it longer than I've had any phones in the past so its pretty tough!!

I love Verizon...I used to have the droid x and loved it...had a little too much to drink one night an left it on top of an ATM. Now I got the iPhone 4 and I like it alot. If you are conducting business the droid is definitely the way to go but you can't beat the iPhone for it's all around versatility

AT&T doesn't have 4G at this time. I"ve read that they are moving to an upgraded version of their current 3G setup, and down the road they will have LTE like Verizon. I think their regular 3G is faster than Sprint and I know it's faster than Verizon. |
Guys I work with have Sprint, AT&T, and Verizon. I know the ones with AT&T are having alot of trouble useing their phones in the break room, Sprint and Verizon seem to be doin better but I think Verizon is doin the best right now. I tried mine last night and it played 45min of swamp people on youtube none stop where my Sprint phone would never have done that but it did make and recive calls when the guys with AT&T could not

I have AT&T now and thier service aint what it used to be lately . I switched from Nextel a few years ago because their service went to crap. The reason Nextel gave me for poor reception was that it was summer time and there was too may leaves on the trees blocking the signal . I asked if they had a summer phone since apparently I had bought the winter model. Then after Rita I called again and got the same excuse , so I not so politely explained we had just had a hurricane and there was no trees to have leaves . They hung up on me .... now thats good customer service.

Nextel = Sprint.
This past winter, they told me the reason for all the cutting out was the cold and wet winter we were having. Right now, I am pretty sure winter is over, but I still get the same crap. I can have full reception, all bars, and still get the same noise like the person I am talking to is in a tin can and cutting out. It only happens when I am talking about anything very important. Not when I get calls from someone I don't want to talk to. |
Ray you might have the spring or fall model phone

This sounds kinda crazy but makes since, I know there were others switching and paying to end contract yesterday. |
