Unbelievable Day
 

Had an awesome days, lots of details that i say later but main point. 18 tripletail, 5 chicken dolphin, 1 50lb cobia, and a spanish. Missed another big cobia at the boat:cry: And we missed plenty other tripletails. Check them all out in that one pic, THEY WERE EVERYWHERE at every stop! We got tired of catching them! We would of kept more, but couldn't remember if they had a limit

Also blew fuse in truck, treble hook in my foot (had to pull it out, past the barb), broke a rod and lost a net

I know ya'll don't care about details too much so heres some pics of a trip that I doubt I'll ever top out my bay boat. INCREDIBLE DAY!!!

One other thing, I'm very disappointed with the appointed STAR weigh stations. The first time we ever tried weighing something in, the guy wasn't there. 2nd time, the station never sent in the papers, then this time the guy gave the scale away for someone to use!!!!!:pissed::pissed::pissed::pissed::pissed::p issed::pissed: My name should be in second place on the list!!!

Yep all 3tails. At every stop they were like that. We almost caught them on plain jig heads

12 miles and then we just drifted with the rip. Ended up about 18 miles out.

We had a guy walk into the ER today with a topwater lure hooked in to the back of his head. When I first saw it I thought it was hookless and attached to his hat. Turns out he got hooked by his wife. Nurses called me to go cut the hooks loose from the lure and to cut the one treble that was through the hat so they could get the hat off.
The look on the guys face was price less when he heard the nurse ask me to cut the hooks loose. Rofl.

Is the launch south of the locks still open over there???
