To catch Flounder:
Live or market shrimp......tipped on the hook of any soft plastic or just on a small hook......fished on the bottom up near the bank or on the ship channel drop-off.
I have also caught lots of flounder using a small spinner bait casting it up next to the bank and slowly reeling it in. Hold on.....you also might hook into a big Red fish doing this. |

We mainly used gulp on a lead head. Fishing it like a worm waiting for the tick. Some came off a swimbait I use for bass!! Be ready to loose quite a few lures in the oysters.
