Divorce Lawyer Help

Well I've finally had enough!!! Anyone now a great divorce lawyer in the New Orleans - Baton Rouge area? I have a 5 year old and he is the most important thing imaginable. I could care less about money I just want my son or atleast equal visitation. HHHHEEEEELLLLLPPPP!!!!!

I've used a guy in Gonzales named Lloyd Capello for several different situations now. Thank God, none of those reasons include yours but, he's an aggressive guy and I feel that's one of the most important qualities in an attorney...If it's possible for attorneys to have qualities. Consultation is $50 and he can tell you exactly what to expect from any procedings. Let me know if ya want his info. Heck, just call me if ya need it.

My guy was good but I felt like he could have done better and he was not the best a communicating with me. My ex wife attorney was an animal! But cost some big dog coin from what I understand. The best advice I can give u is keep your mouth shut n don't feed into their games no matter what she says or does don't give her a reaction , and get a woman attorney they r like lil attack dogs. I'm in Florida right now but I'll track down the # n text it to you

Her Ex husband is a judge, they are on good terms.
Feel free to call me. 225-715-6434
in short my case is now twelve years old and over 250K in cash, but worth every Pennie.

Julie does not loose.
And she is a looker.

her number is 225-687-8855

Dink 07-22-2011 10:34 AM

Do alot of soul searching first......there's a kid involved! Exhaust all other roads before continuing down this one......sometimes its for the better, most times not. Go see your priest or even a marriage counselor

Julie is good
Her and my wife are good friends
My wife and her go back and forth all the time
All depends on what judge they go in front of.

Philip Kobetz is well known for handling contested divorce, child custody, and community property cases. His practice began in 1980, representing individuals in automobile and motorcycle personal injury, offshore, and medical malpractice cases, areas in which he still maintains an active trial practice in both state and federal court. He attributes much of his success in the family law arena to the trial experience that he gained in his personal injury litigation practice and to his personal family experience as a father of three children. He has been Board Certified as a family law specialist by the Louisiana State Bar Association since its first testing in 1995.Philip is one of the best Lawyers in the State Of LA

Lawyer Wins...

The only person who wins are the attorneys....Dink is absoloutly right....Think about it long and hard....I had a bad one, FFF had a bad one as well as a lot of folks....Anyone can get divorced...Only a select few can work it out....My garbage man passes on Wednesdays, take pride and throw it in there, doesn't cost a thing....Counseling is the way to go for sure...Unless there are really bad circumstances that you absoloutley cannot deal with...It's tough to live with another human being...Gotta work at it EVERYDAY! Good Luck!

I respect the heck out those comments......but the man did ask for counselors.

What I have experienced both personally and directly with family and friends.....is that guys are taken advantage of in counseling IF and I repeat IF the woman has her mind made up.

While the system is getting better daily, it is STILL set to give mom custody and Daddy pay.

The only way to secure seeing your children of having the chance to, is a reasonable and willing ex or soon to be ex......like that is gonna happen......or being the one to file first.

Sorry if that sucks but it does, sadly over 50% marriages end this way and only about 15% of dads get equal custody.

The system rewards women to file first, they get the kids, the house and the cash if they file first.

Again my apologies purfusely for being a turd .....really I do not throw these words out lightly.

however, most if not all the time thus far.......I am right.

The system is getting much better about this. Most of the men's cases that my wife does the custody is a 50/50 system.

Now days the judges are doing a better job of assessing the situation before settling community property.
A good friend of mine just finished his community property. Both the man and woman made a good living. Retirement funds were split and wife had to pay the guy a little for the difference in her 401K
The house was appraised wife did not want it guy had to buy wife out. Boat went to the guy corvette went to the woman. Child custody was set up on a 7 & 7 basis with rotation of holidays. The biggest argument was over LSU tickets out the worked that out.
Women used to come out ahead but it has gotten a lot better UNLESS you get caught with your magic stick out of you pants then you are pretty much #*cked.

I appreciate all of the responses. I'm going to take the weekend and do some serious thinking and see if I can't have an epiphony(sp?) In the bottom of a bottle of Jameson. I'm on my way to Bourbom st right now and party like I was 18 again.

I know you feel bad man, but be safe tonight. Dont do anything irrational. You have sc support here brother. You and your son will be in my prayers. Divorce is tough, saw what it did to my father and the toll it took on me. My parents splitting up is why I will not get married unless a prenuptial agreement is involved. I dont wanna work my *** off for 20 years and have the woman take it all. F that mess. But in all honesty, best of luck to ya.

also you can't let one situation affect your outlook on all women. If you get one like i got you wouldn't need a prenup.

we should learn from this guy.....
