how is poche's in breaux bridge?

poche's by far is the best! It is good and spicy. I live in New Orleans and hunt Thistlewaite. I stop there and get 5 cooked links for the ride home and 20 pounds fresh to cook for the next few weeks. Get there early in the day and the cracklins are still hot! Their stuffed pork chops are also awesome.

The one in Cecilia is pretty good.
The one in Iowa, south on 165 is a lot better. Rabideaux(spelling??)
I like Don's and Best Stop's cracklins better than the boudin.
Never tried Poche's yet. Where is it located in da Breaux?

i heard they was good but Bourgeois in Thibadeaux is the Best by far..

Ray....Poche'y Bridge is on the Cecilla hwy [Hwy 31] a few miles north of I-10.

I use to work not too far from there and they had good plate lunches.

I pass there twice a month. I am always looking for good food like dat.
I usually stop at Cabala's for my pitstop on the way home.

Ya'll need to try Billy's in Krotz Springs. The cracklins are good too.

i've had the poche's and didn't care for it,and i thought it was expensive.i get don's when ever i'm over there.

i'm needing to ship some, dons was 100 to ship 10 lbs, poche's was 75

get it and vacumn pack it yourself freeze it solid put some coldpacks inside ship fedex! I work at a resturaunt we ship out lots of bbq and sausage is the same principle;) save yo loot!

do you have to vacuum pack? can you use ice instead of cold packs?

Pyburns in Houston is some kinda good. I bought 50lb there last month. ;)

Yep, dozens of times. Pyburns is as good as, or better than, anything I've had in LA. He's a coonass, though, so it basically is LA boudin. ;)

Bourgeois in Thibodaux /Gray

Bruce it needs to be vacuum packed and if you can find dry ice would be ok but freeze it first just incase something happens on shipping

I would have to say Don's and Charlie T's on berard street in BB are the best. They are both meaty and spicy.
I work in BB and some people bring in Poche's from time to time. I won't even grab a link anymore. That is some sad stuff there. It is mushy, full of rice, and is bland as hell. Don't waste your money. Most of the shop agrees on this as well. BUT, if you want some good marinated pork or turkey grillades, poooooo, theres can't be beat. Their plate lunches are the bomb too.

You better make sure nothing is going to leak or you may have the FBI knocking on your door. Yes vacuum and ice packs or dry ice.

Billy's in Krotz Springs and Opelousas by far! Boudin, boudin balls, and cracklins are all best I ever had! Dons, poches, and best stop are all good too though.
