Chree chaker on Lake Shore Dr.
 

The sister of a lady my wife works with took this picture on Lake Shore Dr yesterday morning.

that's every bit 16' and weighs 2200 pounds, well if it was on swamp people that's what they would say.....looks like a easy 10' plus

You would be surprised at the wildlife in that area, I have seen them in the Lake Charles lake and that's not far from the river and marsh. A few yrs back I saw pics of some deer in that area and have heard of some real nice bucks in the city limits.

no *** sherlock...if you ever been in that area he would have a nice haul to get to the road and then the nearest body of water would be the lake.

looks like maybe the area at I-10 by old Harrahs Casino where the road split

That was my first thought but I don't think there is 3 different roads right there.

you have a road coming and one going from I-10 to civic center and the road splits there at over pass, either way you can tell its in Louisiana by lookin at road

That might be right there by the old cemetary. sittin on the road goin to steamboat bills, but before you go under I10

Had a 12+' on I-10 near the Sorrento exit in '04 right after I got here. Man, I freaked out when they showed it on the news, being an Okie and all! It had westbound I-10 shut completely down for almost an hour till someone could get out there and "take care of it."

he was 8' 8". I got the nuisance call and picked him up just south of the old cemetary by harrahs
