Are all 4 of those trolling motor batteries hooked up at the same time? If so how'd you manage that?

DING . . . . .

cajunredfish07 08-05-2011 01:24 PM

Yes all 4 batteries are hooked parallel,. works great, just plug into the 4-bank charger and you good to go.

Ray 08-05-2011 09:05 PM

Original post says 115 hours.

You can make 4 batteries run 12, 24 or 48 volts.

I have mine the same way, My cranking battery is jumped over to my #1 trolling batt. on a 36 volt system. It makes one big 12volt cranking batt. and also gives more runtime on the trolling system, although I've never been able to drain it, fishing heavy current for long periods of time.

Is the battery jumped + to + and - to -?

Then, I'm pretty sure they're connected in "parallel" which doubles the amps but the voltage stays the same. You can connect 20 12-volt batteries together and still have 12 volts.
