Hello all! My name is Katelyn. I am new to the SaltyCajun! I am born and raised in Texas however spent a ton of time with my family that lives in Shreveport, LA fishing on Cross Lake and other lakes in and around there. I recently started to hunt and cant wait to start hunting in LA! I do a lot of deer, dove, and duck hunting! But I have now gotten into Night Vision Hog hunting! It is the best thing ever! Anyways, just wanted to say hi!

Well thanks Y'all! I am glad to be a part of the SaltyCajun! I will post some pics. This past year was my first year hunting. Shot my first doe at 291 yards free standing with my Remmington 700 in 7mm-08!

that AR is some kind of sick. Man I want an AR but I cant justify that kind of coinage for a gun that I won't hunt with.

AR'S are great hunting rifles. Thats what I use. I am actually going to be building a new AR for myself with a short barrel. Probably 10.5 inch.

Them hogs are getting closer and closer to my house. Next thing you know, I will hang a stand in the back yard and be shinning.
