X2 buddy of mine had same priblem

Good ride, neighbor has same boat & engine. It's a 2007 I think.
Moves pretty fast with the 300.
Lots of space to fish..... It has a T-top and never has been an issue.
X3 on the soft spot. My cousin has a 2008 22ft had a soft spot in the floor. Sent back to champion ans it was fixed.... Dunno how.

All in all I give it a 9 out of 10!

Ain't Craig (Bluechip) got one?

inchspinner 08-16-2011 09:28 PM

Dudes in a bind, it actually has 28 hrs on it...and just wants the notes picked up...paying like 300 a month...Anyone know the weight with BOAT, TRAILER, and 300 Yammy.....He barely uses it...not in a bind but wants a COMBINE for the TEXANS HAY....and the note would free him up...For what he owes its a STEAL.

Lol....it's 22ft... But I love it. Nice heavy boat, rides smooth and dry. Plenty fast for me and has plenty of freeboard.

It was an option.....I even built a deer stand out of some of it....and still have plenty of freeboard. That's what you get when you buy a custom boat.

That freeboard will accommodate fishing and hunting....lol

Try calling the people over at Lunar boat lifts bet they can tell you what it weighs. Then google the trailer manufacturer look up the trailer weight.

Savagespec619 08-17-2011 06:38 PM

i love champion boats! my friend has a 24 foot with a 250 yamaha. i go with him alot i like the ride they have

latravcha 08-18-2011 03:10 PM

If this boat will not work for you let me know

Nitramiii 08-26-2011 09:50 PM

I have 2008 that has Suzuki DF-250. It tops out at 49mph. Cruises at 40mph at 5000rmps. It's dry and smooth. This boat is no speed demon, but will run faster and smoother than some others out there when the water gets snoty. I had deck problems on a 2000 21 Bay Champ, but I think there is no wood in the 2008. I'm not sure what year they stop putting wood. If you look at the boat and determine there are soft spots, allow approx. 4-5,000 to replace flooring. Hope this helps.

josimon 09-24-2011 01:05 PM

I have a 2000 Champion 21' for sale- just replaced entire back decking- was told by the fiberglass guy that the 24'Century I bought was half the boat that this Champion is- one thing for sure- more floor space in Champion -Century has more storage than I need. - Good luck- hope that helped you

Theophile ran the 24s in his guide business out of Lafitte for years - call him.
