My buddy Chris M had one...in Texas...he fished the Redfish armature series....Sold it after he crossed Galv Bay in 3ft chop

mriguy 09-02-2011 08:21 PM

Bad Azz boat right dere! Looked on the website, Cat 5 center console looks great

PaulMyers 09-02-2011 08:25 PM

Jason, You going to get it built with the dual or center console?

Good looking boat, looks to be extremely fast. How long will it take them to build it?

Been there done that last Saturday. I did not know how bad Galv. bay was. Rookie mistake. Was 15 minutes late and got DQ'ed. The main thing I'm looking at is how much time you can make-up rolling 85-90mph in the intracostal. It was smooth as glass right up to the bay.

bjhooper82 09-02-2011 11:14 PM

I like going fast but 85-90 on the water is just plain nuts.. Sorry, just my opinion

I agree....once you get the adrenaline rush it is addictive like crack! I drove my podnas allison, got it up to 95 and still had some pedal left. Once you get over 85 everything goes silent. Sweet lookin' boat besides the gay colors.

Yes it is. I've been 96 in my bass boat. Speed gets in your blood. Although its not on the top of the list in choosing what salt water rig I want, it is a factor.:smokin:

Montauk17 09-03-2011 01:39 PM

I like this one....

LOL he beat you on your lake. :rotfl:

specknation 09-03-2011 03:37 PM

When fishing bays how often can you really go 80 plus miles an hour hardley ever. If your boat can do 45 - 55 you can cover way enough area to do damage. W is 100% right going fast does not make you a better fisherman.

X2

"W" 09-03-2011 04:02 PM

My boat runs 48 mph in bad conditions....so that's fine with me....I can get 60 all day

One thing is for sure...that boat above will not out do a Haynie in 10-15 mph winds on the lake....or any bay

Running the Intracoastal you can run max speed 90% of the time. Why run through slop if you can run around it. My fishing skills are fine, I just need to make the weigh in on time. Also if you want to make a $1000 bet on Redfish with me W I would be glad to take your money. And just know my mom single handedly caught a heavier trout stringer than your whole team during the Saltycajun tourny.
