What model would you recommend for a beginner?

http://www.chicagoairbrushsupply.com/iwreai1.html This one is an entry level, but, it's kinda like a cheaper Shimano....it's still an Iwata. The important thing is to get a double-action. It shoots air and then you add the paint by pulling the trigger farther back. Single-action is a no-no. |
thx for the info

I'm really only a beginner, myself, but, if you have questions you can PM me and I'll let you in on some of the tips I've learned. There are also other brands of airbrushes than Iwata. Everybody I talked to when I started had their own ideas about which one was the "best". I wasn't necessarily looking for the "best" when I started out. First one I bought was a $20 unit from Harbor Freight. You talkin' about a piece of carp! That thing spit and sputtered and slung paint all over from the word go. Buying a quality brush from the start will, IMO, just make the learning curve alot smaller. Let me know if ya need any help. Good Luck! |
