Shift Work APP

For us who work shift work and have Droid phones I found an APP called "Shift Calender" that you put in your rotation and it builds a calender, cost me $1.70 and I think worth it.

What can you do with it? I already know when I'm working. ;)

Can you share your schedule with others?

weedeater 09-13-2011 12:51 AM

well when you build it, it just rolls your schedule so you can look weeks, months, or yrs ahead and you can put in vacation and holidays in it. It takes the place of the shift cards guys carry in their wallets, which our plant is to cheap to make for us.

PaulMyers 09-13-2011 12:56 AM

I'll check it out. I think my wife needs it way more than I do.

Is it the 1 for $1.79?

EVO

weedeater 09-13-2011 02:01 AM

that sounds about right

PaulMyers 09-13-2011 02:12 AM

I looked and there was about 5 or 6 listed. I wanted to make sure I was getting the right one.

weedeater 09-13-2011 02:16 AM

this one is call Shift Calender and has Alex Gugel on it

PaulMyers 09-13-2011 02:18 AM

That's the one I thought you were talking about. Thanks!

if you have any questions on setting it up I will try to help

scott craft 09-13-2011 03:06 PM

What about keeping it on your phone as an excel file? That's worked for me on my last phone and my current phone.

this one can be set to show only your shift or all shifts and you can put in vacation days, it will also let you look how ever far you want even yrs ahead

my dad retired from there, Kenny Andrus and I know he was a pain to work for so anything you say won't hurt my feelings or be news to me, I also know Dan Felice "DC" and Lanny Thorton and a few others

Never really worked with Kenny but me and Dan are on the same shift, good guy, went fishing with him after we had fire school earlier this year. Lanny is the board operator on our shift I believe.

Is this the same plant that used to be Himont then Montell? If so I worked there throughout the 90's. I was the plant inspector.

Probably won't be a good bud after he hears you think he's pretty.

There's a guy at Basell that worked with us at Pigment for a while. Brian McGee, he's an instrument tech.
