Mark Dodge Service Dept....
Anyone have any experience with them?
Good or Bad? |
I had good luck with them and they were cheapest oil change on my diesel
|
I have had my wifes Grand Cherokee in a couple of times for little stuff and they were fine...
Ran into a guy with a 1 ton diesel who was about to loose his flippin' mind in there one day... He was one unhappy camper :shaking: Hydro |

6.7 liter?
|
yep, 6.7
|
I passed on a great deal last year because of that engine.......im sorry to hear it man. If you find a 5.9, scoop it up and sell the 6.7!!!
|
I had the 2006 with a 5.9 and it was a great engine and truck, last of the breed. I hat to hear that they did that because they took good care of me, only problem I had was bad fuel which was $6000 in repairs but my insurance picked it up.

Cowgirl up!!!:rotfl: Take a picture of that I want to see it:rolleyes:
What the hell would have happened if you were in Kansas or somewhere way off & had it worked on by a dealership there? That's BULL!@#$!:pissed: When I was in Hackberry a couple years ago I took my 5.9L to Mark Dodge for a couple injectors that were bad & it was still under warranty they wouldn't touch it!:pissed: I remember leaving there with a servere case of the redass!:pissed: I let em know what I thought about them before I left in front of everyone & customers in the service dept! I started to go up front & raise hell in front of everyone that was trying to buy a new vehicle but I didn't feel like meeting LCPD that day. Had to bring it back to Baton Rouge to get it fixed. |
They are out of their minds! Chrysler is Chrysler! You need to be on the phone with corporate! They don't want to do the work because they are afraid that the company they fly a flag for will stiff em? I've never even heard of this!

Get a good one and start looking at Fords so when Chrysler buys your truck back in 6 months you'll have a ride.;) |
A guy that does work for us from texas had a prob with his 09 dodge diesel...towed it to mark dodge because he was in LA...they estimated 10k in damage, the culprit being water in the gas tank and then it screwed up the engine. The repair estimate paperwork that the repair guy showed him had another guys name and he would not let the guy I know make a copy of it.
Contacted a lawyer, who had just won a case agians M dodge. decided to take it to a guy in Buna Tx and he fixed it $400+. The problem...his emisson monitors...did not use the lawyer b/c of cost... I wouldn't buy a vehicle from M dodge...thats for sure |
I used to work there when it was on Prien Lake Rd. I wouldn't buy a thing from that place. Everytime I see his commercial come on my bp goes up. He is a crook and teaches his business to follow in his foot steps. Whew. I feel better.

Well, I just got a call from Mike Smith Dodge in Beaumont where i was forced to bring my truck due to Mark Dodge saying I had 7 grand worth work to be done. All that needs to be done now is clean the turbo and said I could use a brake job. Wow, how can there be such a difference, it's not rocket science. Mark Dodge had to be trying to screw me. So I walk out with a $179 dollar brake job, they cleaned the turbo on warranty.

I had issues with the service dept., but that was before they changed the name.
But still the same owners. They had me drive from Cameron to Lake Charles and be there at 7:30 am for a recall notice I got. Got there at 7:00 am and at 2:00 I noticed the truck was just moved to the back and never worked on yet. I asked what was up. They told me they didn't have the part. I was pissed. Asked why they made me drive that freakin far and they didn't have the part. He said they put the part on someone else's truck. They lost any more business from me... Might be better now. But still ain't goin to Mark Dodge... |
Try Weaver Motors in Kirbyville, Tx. This is a small dealership with a real good service dept.
|
I'd rather deal with the smaller family owned dealers too.
Better service and they remember who you are. |
Mr D there is a simple way to get around this issue and it's by installing a programmer and bypassing all of this egr and clean burn emission control stuff. I have a h.s programmer installed on a 07 dodge that
has 300000 miles on it and it is still running great. I had a issue a few weeks ago with it where I had brought it to have fuel pump changed as they broke the connection on the wire going to the fuel pump therefore I sure as he'll wouldn't do business with frenzel motors in abbeville la |
I have a Ford. Dealership I bought it from comes and gets my vehicles from my house, drops off a loaner, and brings back when done. Warranty or not.
I am not brand loyal, but if a dealership treats me right, I become dealership loyal. Last truck I bought, I stopped when it was closed, picked out a truck I wanted, called next day. Worked out a plan on the phone, that evening she was here with the truck and paperwork was signed on my kitchen table. Deal was done my way. Service is #1 in my opinion. If I was treated like BIglaketiger, no way I would go back to that dealership. And I learned from his mistake. I would not buy there due to them putting the shaft to him. |

Tell her Raymond Duhon sent you. She's good people. |
I usta have great luck with Billy Navarre in Sulphur too, but I dated the warranty clerk.
She picked up and dropped off truck. But I had bad luck with the truck. In the 3 years I had it, drivers seat broke, transmission went out, rear end went out second week I had it, a/c went out 4 times(in the summer each time. It was a 3/4 ton Chevrolet. When warranty went out, I traded on the truck I have now. 3/4 ton Ford. |
