Don't waste your time or money. I felt proud of myself for memorizing all that junk about horns and what they mean on inland and international waters until I learned that the captains just get on the radio and say, "Hey man, I'm just gonna go ahead and pass you on the left".

TTL it was around 1500 for everything. And some of the stuff is cool to learn but I doubt it ever gets used in reality. I guess I could get me a cap and a fancy shirt but ,yall would just pick on me ..

"W" 11-22-2011 09:20 PM

I took mine online last year but have to complete rest in baton rouge....cost me total so far 450

SaltyShaw 11-22-2011 09:22 PM

It will add up to the same amount we paid "W" minus the hotel expense it was $840 for the license and class but hotel for a week was $400 then you have to pay for a physical, drug screen, and a Fee to the USCG

"W" 11-22-2011 09:25 PM

I just want it for taxes

"W" 11-22-2011 09:27 PM

O and one good thing is my company has the same drug testing as coast guard so I can use my yearly and randoms
