jchief 09-26-2011 04:43 PM

Whatcha plan on using it for? Fishing and hunting?

Duracraft19 09-26-2011 04:45 PM

Looks Great! I would add some pattern to help break it up some.

Duffy.yyz 09-26-2011 04:45 PM

Both...Probably fishing more! When i hunt, ill probably just throw some grass on it....Just looking for suggestions

Montauk17 09-26-2011 04:50 PM

Duffy.yyz 09-26-2011 04:53 PM

You don't want that motor...not to fast

PaulMyers 09-26-2011 04:54 PM

Besides the 25 merc that is the fastest 25 out there

jdm4x43732 09-26-2011 04:57 PM

I like it like that. Stealthy!!

Duffy.yyz 09-26-2011 04:59 PM

It's not bad...32 mph with me and the dog...fast enough for me!

Perfect! I squeezed 34 out of my 25 merc with just me and cool air temps. Paint came out good though,I would leave it like it is. You could always add a boat blind for hunting. My podna and I built one pretty cheap for his boat. A welding machine and a 12 pack got it done.

jchief 09-26-2011 06:25 PM

Did you use marine grade paint? Too late now but they make one with the primer in the paint.

weedeater 09-26-2011 08:22 PM

that looks sweet, I just bout a little 15x42 flat with a merc 25 that I am gonna take next week and get alittle welding done then me and merc gonna paint it and I just may copy your paint choice. What size is that thing and did you have the front deck added?

Duffy.yyz 09-26-2011 08:36 PM

My grandpa modified that boat years ago...it's a 1984 duracraft, 14-48? ...he did a few things to it.

I was told by a painter that it needs to sit 3 weeks before putting it in water. Not sure though.
