When I work days I can't hang out online all day, just nights and weekends. My bosses don't like to see any idle instrument techs.

Man this is ripe for picking

scott craft 10-07-2011 08:17 PM

On nights and weekends it's a lot like operations. We get a call, go take care of it then back to reading or whatever. At Pigment they seem to think I/e techs on shift should be busy al the time just like the day hands that have scheduled pm's. If I'm not busy it's usually a good sign for the plant.

There's some ot hounds in his unit and I don't think he's the worst. I can't see working 700-1000 hours a year. No home life that way.

I worked / managed a quiznos in college....... I only eat quiznos for a sandwich.
Clean operation. Fresh cut meat, veggies, cheese.
Only thing premade is soup.
Bread is cooked offsite from a bakery and shipped in.
The fast food industry is NASTY!!!!

Canes is another clean & fresh place to grab & go for food.

huntin fool 10-08-2011 02:06 PM
