I smoked a monster nutria a few years back during duck season. My buddies dog kept trying to retrieve it out of the canal but it was too big. Biggest nutria I have ever seen

CajunRebel 10-21-2011 04:58 AM

Aw man, I went down 1100 miles to LA for three weeks just to hunt them and didn't see one! Maybe next year.

Hydro 10-21-2011 05:18 AM

When I lived on the other end of the state, I remember when Harry Lee would get his SWAT team (JPSD) out and pop the little critters at night in town... They were undermining roadways via those huge drainage canals...

I'm pretty sure they still do that.

Hydro 10-21-2011 05:40 AM

don't knock it until you try it. My wife said the same thing until she tryed it and now she loves it.

Lake Chuck Duck 10-21-2011 07:54 AM

How about this, We kill some and you can have my share. Hows that?

Duck Butter 10-21-2011 08:00 AM

It HAS to be good to eat, they are vegetarians, BUT I haven't been at the right place and right time and in the right mindset (i.e drunk) to eat one.

They say the best way to get rid of something is to tell a bunch of coonazzes that the animal is protected and that they taste good, they will kill everyone of them! Save the whooping cranes!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'm down i wish we still had them in or marsh, but the storms took them out and they never came back. If you got a area we can shoot them i'm down.

evidrine 10-21-2011 10:18 AM

Theres always Gerard Park in Laffy!!!! Do you think anyone would notice?

SolomonGrundy 10-21-2011 10:53 AM

more info: this would be a series. production would start at beginning of season (Nov. 20th). Teams must be willing to hunt and trap all season at regular intervals. Teams will be paid for participating in regular production. The interviews are for casting purposes and there is no pay for initial interview. We're moving quick so interview opportunities will cease after next weekend.

Lake Chuck Duck 10-21-2011 12:08 PM

Are they still thick in laccasine pond?
