Paul Myers, JChief and I made a quick trip this morning, JChief needed to be back so we did not stay out all day. We had a three man limit of flounder all on gulp pearl shrimp. On our way back we made a quick pass through a few birds and picked up 20 or so trout. Nice comfortable day on the water.

Nice catch guys ! My original plans for this morning got cancelled so I just got caught up on some things at home. I been out the loop here lately due some issues I'm having to deal with ,but hopefully I will be back in the game here shortly.

And yes it was cold ....lol

Yes in deed! Fishing the flats and dropoffs near the pogie plant using gulp swim mullet in pearl white on 1/4 or 3/8 jig heads. Watch out for waders, there everywhere.

Shouldn't be a problem. It should be good for a couple of more weeks.

Try fishing the East side. Just as good and no waders.

mako1 11-01-2011 12:01 PM

ok thanks. if the wind isnt too bad we may try to head that way

DUCKGOGETTER 11-01-2011 12:03 PM

Awesome job guys

Ray 11-01-2011 12:53 PM

Currents are stronger on the East side. And water is deeper.

Caught plenty of nice flounder last time I fished the East side.

Second picture is on the West bank looking at the Pogie plant.

pmckee318 11-01-2011 01:17 PM

2nd pic, try to find WALDO in all those waders.
