RIP Drake 12/10/11
 

Let my lab out to stretch his legs after being kenneled for 3 weeks with no yard time and in a matter of seconds he disappears only to later be found dead onside of the road 30 minutes later. Guess I shpuld have kept a better eye on him after keeping him contained so close for so long. You'll be missed buddy! I didn't even take a pic of him this year in his element.

Sorry to hear man.. he will be missed. And was a damn good dog.

Sorry to hear about Drake . I know how you feel ,I lost my old lab this year to old age .

Damn man that really sucks. I know I'll she'd a tear or two when I loose my hunting buddy. Sorry for your lose.

Brayden he sure saved us some trips! I hope I can coach his replacement equally as good!

Tuff loss my bradda.....an old friend is hard to replace.....hope the sting eases soon.....

Sorry about that pal, my grand daughter lost her house dog in much the same way.
They just don't understand about cars. Hope that you find a replacement soon.

I have been looking for the "forever pet" poem all dag long. Forgot the title.. was going to post it.

I just remebered where I had put it ,so I thought I would post it for Shawn.

Thanks trey, it'll be hard to replace him but I dont know if I'll ever not own one after being spoiled to having a good retriever regardless of how short lived his time was.

I just saw this post......... I know loosing Drake has to leave an empty spot in your and your families hearts.

I know the time and love involved. I'm so sorry.

First time in almost 4 years that i came home, went inside and had no reason to go outside due to not having to feed Drake and let him out.

Damn shawn sorry to hear that i know how you feel it's hard losing a great freind like that. If you need to talk give me a call anytime.
