American Chopper Build Off

Don't know if this is a re-run or not, but Jesse James is the man. Enuff said. He is clowning Paul Sr and Jr pretty bad.

swamp snorkler 12-10-2011 11:04 PM

It's a re run and the outcome of the build off sucked, the one I'm a fan of did not win.

jldsc 12-10-2011 11:23 PM

Those cake's were awesome...Jesse is a real deal bike builder!!! Im pretty sure that discovery channel just brought him in to spice things up a little for rating's.

jdm4x43732 12-10-2011 11:50 PM

Yeah figured out it was a re-run pretty quick, still Jesse James kicks ***.

southern151 12-11-2011 12:00 AM

Jesse's burnt! Bike builder?...check! Brain fried?...check!!!!

bjhooper82 12-11-2011 12:25 AM

Any guy that would cheat on a woman like Sandra Bullock is a complete idiot!! But he is a hell of a bike builder though!!

Micah 12-11-2011 12:30 AM

I liked Jr.'s bike the best by far. Never been a fan of the old style choppers though. Sr.'s joke of bike was just a waste of space.

AGREED!

Keywest18 12-11-2011 07:56 AM

i just want to know what the woman that he cheated on her looked like. Jesse james' bike all look the same but he is damn good builder. plis his attitude is what makes him. but Jr. is very talented

kibb 12-11-2011 08:12 AM

They should've made them all build choppers. That's what they are all supposed to be about. Old school, new school, whatever. Not this theme bike bull**** Jr. built and this hermaphroditic crap Sr built. Jr has a creative imagination but I truly doubt he can build real chopper without doing some research. Sr, on the other hand, he should've stuck to the true choppers he had before the show. I know he just after the money but he, himself, couldn't produce the things coming out of his shop.

Country Boy 12-11-2011 09:38 AM

I used to think Jesse James was alright but me being a fan of Sr. and Jr. and the way Jesse was bad mouthing them makes me think different of him now!

jdm4x43732 12-11-2011 10:01 AM

Jesse an idiot??

For every fine woman out there, they have a guy who is tired of boinking her and putting up with her sh*t. Sandra Bullock is fine but I bet that's some high maintenance stuff. I'd pick his old one, Jeneane from 10 or so yrs ago any day, my preference. I like my women on the trashy side. LOL

Loneshark 12-11-2011 11:39 AM

Any of them could have built Jesse's bike

I am sure there are more but off the top of my head both the Black Widow and Anti-Venom were both choppers and much more creative than Jesse's bike. Jesse said his was a rider but the rider would have had back probems after 10 miles on that bike. No suspension and not a single layer of padding on the seat.
Senior copped out because he knew he didn't stand a chance.

I agree about Sr. - he knew right off the bat that they couldn't hold a candle next to the other two. In fact, if you watched the first episode where they built em', Sr. had zero participation in the build. Jr. is a design genius, and Jesse is a craftsman in it's finest form - I felt the show was really about those two.

I love watching the show as it's nice to see creativity get expressed into mechanical form. But OCC lost it's edge when they started designing behind a computer.

You said it all right here

Ray 12-11-2011 03:11 PM

I don't watch them shows much, but from what I seen, James builds his own bikes, from the ground up. Seats pans, seat covers, tanks, frames... ect. Everything from scratch. No computer cut outs.
Jr and Sr farm out the seats, paint, tanks, frames... ect. Few other things they build are designed and cut on computer. Looks fantastic, but not a true builder.

kibb 12-11-2011 04:07 PM

That's what I'm getting at. It's kinda like calling homie changing oil at Wal-Mart a mechanic.

iron man 12-11-2011 06:50 PM

They announced Jr as the winner, Jesse and Sr talked for a few seconds then they both walked like they were gonna shake Junior's hand, but Jesse walked off stage with his tail between his legs.

They don't look like they are built to be rode.
They look like toys. Not like bikes.

jldsc 12-11-2011 08:57 PM

Yep..I ride and I wouldnt want to go anywhere near an OCC bike..

Their not meant to be rode - they are promotional items. I would argue that Jesse's bikes aren't meant to be rode either. Back in the day, a custom West Coast Chopper cost about $100K. You might take that out for a Sunday stroll, but I don't know too many people that would truly ride one, even if they could afford it.

His bikes look like bikes. Like they are made to be ridden.
OCC bikes look like toys. Too much stuff welded and bolted all over them.
They look perty, but I'd be scared to puncture a lung if you lay them down.
Just my opinion.

jldsc 12-11-2011 10:06 PM

X2^^

The word chopper came from guys taking everything off that added weight to the bike. Chopping off every oz......lighter is faster!!! What them jokes do is weld crap all over and call it a chopper....they are a joke.
