looking for a house for rent

well me and my wife are looking to move out of our current house due to our landlord not holding up to his end of the deal. we are looking for a 3br 1 bath or 2 bath in the lake charles area. if anybody knows of a good real estate company or an owner looking to rent. we also have a dog so must be ok with pets.we have been looking around but all we find are rent to own or houses that dont allow pets or they are in bad neighborhoods. thanks fellas

480-6555 Castle Real Estate, ask to talk with Tim Castle....very good guy and should be able to set you up. Look towards Moss Bluff area, good schools if you have kids and just a nice place to live.

Call Carl Hardy in Sulphur, he's got alot of rent houses in decent neighborhoods and he's a stand up guy.

The got a house for rent on west prien lake, like you turn off nelson at walmart to go towards prien boat launch. Saw a for rent sign by the road. Would be real close to the lake. I will try to get a good look on my way home from work today.

where at? now you have more room for a bigger boat.

Keywest18 12-15-2011 07:04 PM

its on gulf hwy right past that gas station, cant think of the name of it "gerards" (sp?). yes i know that was the main reason why i didnt want the house im at now it has a 1 car carport and no where for a boat, but now that we got this house come income tax time a boat will be in the yard. still trying to figur out what kind i want. theres also a little boat ramp off the side of the road by my house. gonna try to get some more info on it looks like a good place to launch a jon or kayak.

Gaspards?

If you are south of town on gulf hwy. the launch is prolly black bayou. Bayou will take you to the intracoastal but that's about it...not much fish in them waters.

yes its gaspards lol, oh well that sucks. i was kinda hopin to have a fishin hole that close but oh well....

You can maybe catch a couple bass and bream...prolly some catfish. A lot of hunters this time of year too.

Keywest18 12-15-2011 07:50 PM

would it be a good place to setup catfish lines? that would be ideal that close to the house i can check them daily no problem.any crappie?

No crappie. You could set lines but it gets quite a bit of traffic sometimes and I'm sure most them people wouldn't mind helping themselves to your fish. I've never really done any fishing but maybe a couple times....worth a try though.

Lake Chuck Duck 12-15-2011 08:15 PM

Ive done some froggin back in there.

Keywest18 12-15-2011 08:27 PM

it doesnt seem like it would be that busy.anytime you set lines though people tend to help themselves to them.but im gonna give it a shot soon as i get my boat.some fried frog legs sound pretty good.not to much of a gigger unless its flounders though

Give it try for sure. They do have frogs back there, used to duck hunt back there and would see frogs in the light every morning.
