Had to hit the lake today to see if the trout was hungry . Got on my spot about 9 am and found em . Made two long drifts and bam there was my 15 trout and 5 reds (that got released ) .All fish today was on a TTF Lady Trout Killer in Geaux Gleaux on a 1/4 oz jig head. Water was beautiful . I think I saw a fellow Salty Cajun in a tan Haynie also.

50/50 Mix Redfish and Ground meat and season your meat as you would when you cook a normal burger. Josh Lincecum had made some one time and they were good so i tried them out my self and they were BOMB!!

That sounds pretty dang good! Another good recipe for redfish are boulettes.... (poach the fillets with onions, bell pepper, garlic, and celery with some butter; then add seasonings, bread crumbs, mayo, creole mustard and sour cream, put in fridge for an hour, then roll into balls and fry)...Always a hit for them LSU parties!!!

I like that recipe, dmt. I make Redfish patties. Grind red fillets and mix with just enough boiled potatoes to hold together in a pattie. Mix in onions, celery, onion tops, bellpepper and seasoning. Make the size you want for a burger, 1/2" of olive oil in a skillet and dab the patties with a little flour right before you put them in the oil. You can make your patties and freeze them on wax paper on a cookie sheet and when they are frozen put them in a ziploc. Grab one and throw it in the skillet, no need to defrost, put on a bun and it's on. EC
