Top Dawg 01-08-2012 06:28 PM

I went to cabo for my honey moon. Absolutely loved it there and caught a marlin also. I know you said you wanted to stay away from Mexico but it was very comfortable there.

Go to Costa Rica.
Los Suenos.

Both will love it.
Good fishing, good resort, romantic... ect.
Nice bars too.

And when you've been married for 30+ years you can go wherever you want! Ask my wife! LOL

Congratulations and good luck!

I'm getting married Feb 4th. We still haven't booked a honeymoon yet. Was planning on going snow skiing/boarding in Aspen but they haven't been getting any snow. Still trying to decide if we are gonna go.

In Costa Rica, there is no begging for money and stuff like in Mexico.
Lot less crime. Lots of fun eco tourism.
We took a catamaran trip to some islands, bill fishing trip, checked out the Crocodile's, they got volcano's, zip line trips... ect.
It is not very populated, except in 4 or 5 cities.

Ray 01-08-2012 08:14 PM

We stayed at the hotel, think it was a Marriot, but you can get some good deals on condo's from vrbo.com

Cocodrie has good fishing in Sept, or go to Key West or A Cruise, however on a cruise you might not get to go fishing.
