Are you kidding me! I get up every morning and go to work and them son of a *****s get lobster on food stamps with the money they take from me.

I'm about to drop out of school, quit my job, and start dealing!!! I can't afford to buy artificial crab meat and these mofo's are buying lobster on my dime?!

Me and my wife was behind a lady at walmart on hwy 14, and she had a buggy full of **** all name brand stuff ribeye steaks just what ever you could think of. Her total was over 400 dollars and this ***** had the nerve to tell the cashier " whoo i'm glad i'm not paying for it" and swiped her la purchase card and was proud of it. I turned to my wife and said i'll be in the car before the **** hits the fan in here. Makes me sick, and the sad part is these people breed like rabbits.

It's a mentality that is encouraged and passed from generation to generation, the incentive for " them" to actually get an education and work hard is gone. The saftey net is too good

Well said. "Food Stamps", as there were formally known, are intended to serve as a supplement. I don't think lobster qualifies.

They need to go back to the actual old style food stamps. Back then people were embarrassed to pull those out for payment. They had to tear them out one by one and the cashier had to count it. A lot of people didn't want to get them because of the stigma with it. Now they just swipe a card just like a credit card and no one has to know any better.

You must not have rown up close to the hood, they weren't afraid to use them where I'm from. They would also trade them for real money to buy beer and ****. You spot them a cash $20 they would give you $30 in stamps.

This is why they went to plastic.

Beginning in March, my wife's vending machines will take "The Card". :pissed: I said it would never happen, but, I ain't calling the shots. She caved in under the pressure. After all....these are state hospitals.

My wife works for an ob/gyn and its no longer uncommon for a child of 12 to be in there office pregnant and the family sees no problem with it. She even has some that at 13 or 14 they have there boyfriends living with them. Its nothing for an 18 year old to be on their 4th child. And the gov keeps paying for it and the more they have the more they get. It pisses me off cause I'm working my *** off to pay to raise just one child!

Yeah, i know what ur saying. "Some" people weren't afraid to use them. I worked in a supermarket 20 years ago and sometimes cashiered. There were some who I could see on their faces that they were a lil embarrassed. And yes they definitely tried to sell their food stamps. We tried to make it harder for them at our store by only accepting food stamps that were still in the books. No loose stamps allowed except for $1's.

Big government is to blame for all of this now. I know of a person who refused a promotion from part time to full time and pay raise because it would affect her ability to get welfare. This makes me so friggen mad! I work a full time job and barely make ends meet and cant qualify for squat from the government. But these people on welfare dont work or barely work and have more cash at the end of the month than i do and can afford $3000 rims and tires, 55 inch LCDs, and gold teefs! Hell, i got a cavity right now and I'll have to struggle just to pay get that filled!!

Who the baby daddy be?? Many unfortunately don't even know or care for that matter. There seems to be a reward system in place for the illegitimate children one can have. Why can't out politicians stop the financial bleeding of all our hard earned money being wasted. One way would be that unwed moms are allowed one mistake then any more illegitimate children after that and their check or stamps will be cut in half or 3/4 or whatever. As long as we have liberal minded people handing out our money this BS will continue until we die

you can't legally buy boiled crawfish w/ stamps. so ,how can you buy a cooked lobster???

They also get raw oysters, crawfish by the sack, shrimp, etc on the card. Really sad.

Raw shucked Oysters is gonna kill the balance on them cards now.
They are running around $100/gallon if you get them here in Lake Charles.
