These or the results of the Redfish Tournament that was held today and first I would like to say thanks to all that took place in the tournament because I seen the rough conditions from the land side so the water side was a lot rougher.
The kids division winner was Ethan Nunez who weighed two fish for a total weight of 12.08 lbs. The second place in the kids division went to Tyler with one fish weighed for a total weight of 3.45 lbs. They need a hats off to them for being out in these conditions and sticking it out. Good job guys. There were a total of nine teams that weighed in for the adults and the first place team consisted of Brian Domec & Marty Fontenot had a total weight of 13.39 lbs. The second place team consisted of Jared Adams and Tom Adams with a total weight of 13.22 lbs. The third place team consisted of Noel Hinton, John Kuhn and David Guillory with a total weight of 12.87 lbs. Great job fellows. The person that caught the redfish with the most spots was Brent Slusher with 6 spots. There was a total of $300 given to the charity in the side pot today. Give a big shout out to all the people that were out to give the kids there prizes. |
Big Big thanks to Tightline11 for getting the weigh in equipment and being the weigh master.
Duce Rods for their giving 2 rods to the kids. TFO rods for their donation. Jared Nixon for loaning us the weigh in equipment and donating some lures. Casey Kinchens, Duce Rods, Jeremy Waltrip, and Ethan Nunez for their cash donations. And all 31 adults and 2 youths who were tough and brave enough to go out in the cold, windy conditions this morning to bring in some nice Reds. |

Of course there's no water in joes with an outgoing tide and north wing Casey couldn't even get back to his camp probably. It gets bad in there be careful with that north wind
