W's fishing report...

I have NO DOG in the fight on W's fish...But We haven't had a fishing report in like a month on here and when there finally is one some of you guys bash it? I've fished with jeremy and the man can flat out fish, when it's tough and others struggle, he has a knack for finding them. He uses my fish table and I see his carcasses. And so what if he did kick the weight up a tad on his fish? what fishermen doesn't stretch the weights sometimes of the fish we catch? I mean haven't any of you ever sat in a fish camp drinking beer and hear some of the stories about catches? And as for as the question about the flounder, I was in the general area that W fished yesterday, I too caught several flounder on plastics yesterday morning, they where thick in there. Nice fish "W" by the way.

x 1000000000

I have been waiting on a nice Big Lake report for a loooong time. The guy catches fish and posts nice pics. Leave the bashing for the Gill Net and Sports Bar!

SaltyShaw 03-01-2012 08:25 PM

Flat out ridiculous IMO
Delete some peoples comments and then close the thread . . . . . . not cool

If only he would follow your advice...

Gotta hate it when your chickens come home to roost.

I couldn't agree more.

An infraction was given in that thread, I am in the middle of my busy season so it is hard for me to keep up with all of the threads right now on the site. What I can say is biglaketiger is exactly right. We haven't had a report on here in weeks and we finally get one and people go into attack mode. That type of behavior does not encourage other people to post reports which is one of my big drives for this year.

The fastest way to get banned is with garbage like that.

Sorry guys, I wish I would have caught it sooner.

Deleted the post that should not have been there in the first place, nothing good can come from leaving it open.

Great day by W and I appreciate his report....

Bottom line fishermen stretch the truth, I do it , w does it , everyone does it. I could care less if the fish were 7 lbs or 17 lbs at the end of the day his lucky arse got to fish today while I was chest deep in paper work, cry baby subcontractors, with a 60k $ boat just sitting in the driveway not being used, so those fish and fishing trip were definetly better than my day! Congrats on the killer trip

One of the reasons I don't post much anymore. Damn near every thread goes to crap because of a select few individuals acting like 10 year old girls so it's just not worth it. I swear, I think my 1 year old is more mature than some of the grown men here.

I never said it wasn't a good trip, cause it was. I wish I could've been out there too. I only said w can't count which he proved

inchspinner 03-01-2012 09:15 PM

This happens in a lot of fishing reports of big fish or how many....w has nothing to prove to anyone.....and why would one lie about his catch.... It doesn't give you points....there are many on here that hate if you catch more fish than them or if you catch a bigger one than they ever have...the report is to show fish are being caught......nice trip dub and sac.

Y'all are missin' the point. It really wasn't about the size of the fish as much as the number of 6 and 7 pounders. My initial comment stemmed from this thread that was posted yesterday.

I could have predicted that W would come up with a report like this asap. It has happened numerous times before. Anybody that does not see this is either blind or doesn't want to admit it.

I never said that W is not a good fisherman on Big Lake. I would have to be blind, myself, to think otherwise.

Never heard me claim to either. The few chances I have to fish are about being on the water, away from work, stress and anything else that gets to be aggrevating.

Now, of course, I also don't have some awesome job selling real estate in NYC either so, maybe if I did that, I could be on big lake all the time closing deals on the east coast...
