MOSS BLUFF, La. (AP) — Calcasieu Parish sheriff's deputies are looking for a man who stole almost 9,000 pills in 41 seconds from The Drug Store in Moss Bluff.Kim Myers of the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office said in a news release that the culprit wore a gray or tan suit, clear mask, baseball hat and sunglasses. He was seen on the store's surveillance video entering the store, jumping over the counter and putting the drugs into a black trash bag before fleeing.
Myers said he took more than $4,500 worth of drugs, including about 7,000 Hydrocodone tablets, 700 morphine tablets, 575 Oxycodone tablets, 575 Oxycotin tablets and 130 Soma tablets.
Myers says deputies went to the business at about 6:45 a.m. Tuesday after an alarm there was activated.

I dont know but he looked like he knew what he was doing and was familiar with that place. If you watch the security video he goes directly to certain spots on the shelves. He knew what he was going to get and where it was on the shelves. I say inside job.

let me just say thats WAAAAAYYY over 4500$$$ worth of pills he jacked. hydrocodone runs anywhere from 4-8$ on the street.

morphine and OC run for more.

Disclaimer: I had a friend who was bad into this stuff and it got him into a lot of trouble. i couldnt believe the going rate for one pill.

FYI - Rx meds are very cheap from the wholesale drug companies. It's when they get sold on the street where the money comes in! When I was still on the streets as a medic, Morphine - Valium - Demerol, all sold for less than $9/vial.

this guy's doctor must of cut off his unneeded prescriptions , but he must of kept a good mental note of where all the dope was at when he went to this pharmacy, sounds like he had it scoped out already.

Female, definitely knew where the good stuff was and moved quickly to get it. I would say probably ex employee or someone with affiliation with employee to get that knowledge

My mom works at this drug store. This is not the first time she has been robbed. She was robbed at gun point when she worked at thrifty way on 3rd ave. my wife also works at a drug store. She actually compounds drugs. I think we need to look into a conceiled carry license.

Which isn't actually a bad thing. I was, and it didn't do me any harm. Even getting some good ole college learnin'.

I wish I could have carried while I was delivering...car full of controlleds and delivering north of mill street...

No, they did not break his arm, he has been faking that for about 3 years. Notice he didn't have it in a sling during the vid... He was a pharm. Rep, as you can see in the vid. Dude is a whack job.

Dude is the biggest POS that walks. He is my EX brudder in law. The elderly lady that he stole the identy from was his own mother! He puts his arm in dat sling cause he is trying to get on Social Security disability! A worthless POS and I am glad he finally goin to jail. Should also charge him for not paying child support!

I knew you'd speak in soon. Being he lived 2 doors down from me, I was waiting until you said something. He also drugged his mom up, that we are certain of. Poor lady was as sweet as could be before he was in the picture.

I'm just happy he did not hurt anyone during his bs. Like I said. My mom and my wife work at pharmacies. My mom worked at this particular store.

Ok, here is the scoop on this POS. He was not a pharmaceutical rep. He was a rep for a wholesale drug company, but not over the past year or so. He is trying to get on disability and is also in the middle of a lawsuit against SPAR for a supposed neck/back injury he sustained while on one of the water slides. He does not look too disabled to my to jump over a 4 foot plus counter. No sling in the video of the robbery. He knew the store inside out as he was a friend of the store's owner and a customer of the store for a long time. And yes, he did poison his mom to try to kill her. what a total POS. Hope he gets lots of time!

Oh, yeah, one or both of his X-wives notified the sheriff's office after seeing the video. They identified him without a shadow of a doubt.

Not to mention his mom's sister, who fortunately was smart enough, and got away. He'd constantly call, since we are 2 doors apart from his mother's house, and say she is trying to kill her self, next thing I know, she's out there weeding the flower bed. :rolleyes:

He's not the smartest guy, nor has he ever been. Figured he was more of a child molestor than a robber.

To add more to the story, the Drug Store supposedy shorted him pills, he went in raising hell, then robbed. The owners recognized him aswell, being the fact he visited frequently.

Yes, he did indeed almost kill his Mom, which was his goal. POS, now my nieces have to deal with all the kids at school over a jailbird father. I hope he stays in der for a long damn time.

Well SPAR is off the hook i guess lol...he'll get a "new" suit in the slammer lol!
