Gardener snake..........harmless. Actually useful lil dudes.

Ray 03-26-2012 06:13 PM

They bite if picked up, but don't cut thru skin.

7and7fish 03-26-2012 06:17 PM

By the looks of the pick its the rare headless snake.

Red Devil 03-26-2012 06:17 PM

I try to keep em around cuz they eat mice and stuff, but my Rat Terrier says otherwise and kills everyone she sees.

Yep, a completely harmless ribbon snake:(

You can not make that snake bite you, even if it attacked its mouth is too small to get your pinky!

specktator 03-26-2012 08:32 PM

I have been bit plenty by ribbon snakes. Have bought a few from pet shops and also caught wild ones for pets when I was a kid. Had them draw blood on me before. They'll stick ya!

Harley123 03-26-2012 08:45 PM

looks like to me a dead snake the only kind I like

bjhooper82 03-26-2012 10:55 PM

I caught one when I was a kid at my grandparent's house and talked my mom into letting me bring it home as a pet. The little bastard bit me so I threw it out the window at 65mph!!!

LPfishnTIM 03-26-2012 11:25 PM

most snakes with green on them are the best kind to have around, don't kill em. especially a king snake.

Pole_benda 03-27-2012 01:03 AM

Yup I'm in agreement, only good snake I know is a dead snake! Even when dead, I don't touch them!
