whiskey preference

What is your whiskey of choice? Nothing like a little Evan or makers for me

Finfeatherfur 04-11-2012 09:36 PM

The wife and I go through 1 Jim Beam bottle every week, and I am not talking about a 5th!

I like Makers Mark and JD also, but Jim Beam is more economical!!!!

SpeckWrangler 04-11-2012 09:38 PM

I have only tried Jim a few times I ring makers to be very smooth. I like to try differnet stuff

BIG RED 1983 04-11-2012 09:40 PM

Knob creek. Or crown

southern151 04-11-2012 09:41 PM

Was once a big rum fan. Had stuff imported from all over the Americas. Now days, for me anyway, its any whiskey/rum that doesn't enter me. One day, I just didn't drink it any more without being instantly slammed and hurt for 2 days afterward.

blackmamba 04-11-2012 09:43 PM

Makers or crown

mriguy 04-11-2012 09:44 PM

Makers Mark and Knob Creek. I'll also partake in some Red Stag from time to time.

"W" 04-11-2012 09:49 PM

Markers Mark

SpeckWrangler 04-11-2012 09:53 PM

I have my times I wont drink for a few months and then times ill drink a few times a week. This is the first bottle of makers I've bought. I usually buy crown but I think I like the makers better.

How many here drink straight up versus mixed? Not me I know that.

mikedatiger 04-11-2012 10:00 PM

Gentleman Jack is good and their single barrel is good stuff also. I just opened up a bottle of single barrel last week.

Still, if I had to pick a go to, it would be Seagrams 7, which is great for the price.

BassAssasin 04-11-2012 10:01 PM

Makers and gentleman jack. Ice and a dash of water. Old charter and diet coke if I'm being cheap

jdm4x43732 04-11-2012 10:03 PM

Crown or Grey Goose when I do drink it. Hurt too much after a good night of it, doesn't happen often.

DUCKGOGETTER 04-11-2012 10:03 PM

Makers or bookers

SGib 04-11-2012 10:05 PM

Potters crown is my ranch trip whiskey. Cheap and taste real close to crown.

meaux fishing 04-11-2012 10:11 PM

Blanton's is some good bourbon. It aint cheap though.

Armand16 04-11-2012 10:12 PM

Jack n honey or red stag honey. With coke it's too sweet but on the rocks with a hit of water it's just right.

SULPHITE 04-11-2012 10:12 PM

Knob creek crown....favorite right now sailor Jerry's rum.

LPfishnTIM 04-11-2012 10:33 PM

Crown black, Southern Comfort with coke. I'd rather drink beer, my lastest thing to be drinking too much of is Sir Perry's hard pear cider, its a little expensive, taste good and definitely has a little kick too it that can be easily underestimated. I've been drinking woodchuck too but it aint got nothing on Sir Perry's Hard Pear cider. sorry got off subject!!

specknation 04-11-2012 10:36 PM

I usually drink Gentlemen Jack.

But if you have the change, Blantons is "THE" best there is. At least the best I've ever tasted. It's dangerously smooth.

Riceland 04-12-2012 12:01 AM

bulleit or ridgemont reserve

Dink 04-12-2012 12:53 AM

How could I not weigh in on this one?????

Jack any day, but......I get ALOT of single barrel whiskey out of Colorado that will knock your socks off!!

I also make the trip every year to the Jack Denials plant for my single barrel. Order yours today, and it'll be ready in 11 years.........

me and you could get in alot of trouble if we hung out, cause i'd take whiskey over beer any day.

FF_T_Warren 04-12-2012 02:13 AM

I like my own homemade backyard smokehouse brew. Apple pie is best but occasionally a little of the straight stuff feels good goin down

Montauk17 04-12-2012 05:40 AM

Crown or Jack D

slick143 04-12-2012 06:06 AM

JIM Beam Devils Cut fo sho :smokin::smokin:

Hydro 04-12-2012 06:38 AM

Jack-n-ice ;)

longsidelandry 04-12-2012 06:49 AM

Crown and water for me but lately I've been drinking some Wild Turkey American Honey on the rocks. That stuff is good! I also picked up some Evan Williams Cinnamon Reserve that's pretty good but I just take small sips of it every now and again, it tastes like a Big Red gum, that could get dangerous.

BigChaf 04-12-2012 07:13 AM

George ****el #12, Tennessee Sipping Whiskey or Makers Mark, the key words for whiskey are Kentucky Straight, stay away from the Sour Mash, yuck.

BigChaf 04-12-2012 07:17 AM

Sorry the George Duckel has Di*K in it, my bad !!!!!

cmcnabb 04-12-2012 07:22 AM

My preference depends on where I'm at. I'm way too tight to buy the expensive stuff. I used to buy nothing but tw Samuels and mix with coke. If I'm getting them "free" at a casino I'll order jack and coke. Now I'll spring for jack Daniels Tennessee honey to drink on the rocks after dinner with my old lady. She likes to drink wine and I'm not a fan of it so I just drink Tennessee honey. But if it's getting mixed in coke, I really don't care the brand, I'll drink it all

inchspinner 04-12-2012 07:32 AM

When I drank the hard stuff it was the last of the WATERLOO DISTILRY CROWN XR RED BAG....

Top Dawg 04-12-2012 07:44 AM

Wild turkey 101

Garfish 04-12-2012 07:49 AM

If I drink it, it's usually Jack Daniels.

simplepeddler 04-12-2012 07:51 AM

Booker's
Basil Hayden's
Baker's

I am really impressed with Crown Royal Black

Woodferd (sp) Reserve

Bacsically anything brown.

On the Vodka side.........you guys should really try Tito's and Dripping Springs

SpeckWrangler 04-12-2012 07:59 AM

I also prefer whiskey over beer. I will have to try this blantons. I have had red stag and it is pretty good. Will have to try the JD american honey on the rocks. See if it's any good.

DeeCee 04-12-2012 08:11 AM

Amen to that!

If whiskey. Its Makers, Crown, Woodford Reserve, or Jefferson's Reserve (which used to be official whiskey in the White House)
