Boat color??

What is a good boat color and why? About to order frontier and can't decide!!

Red Devil 04-25-2012 05:36 PM

One thing is the darker the color, the hotter it will get. Guess it all just boils down to whatever you like.

Kenner18 04-25-2012 05:38 PM

Gray is always good.

SaltyShaw 04-25-2012 05:49 PM

Some may disagree but IMO you can never go wrong with some seafoam!!
One of my all time favorite boat color combos, a Frontier would look really good with this color scheme.
Im also a big fan of the gray.

I like that color!

bsoileau 04-25-2012 06:53 PM

I know for sure I am getting gray on the inside!! Can't decide if I want a blue or gray on outside. The seafoam does look good, just don't know if I would get tired of it.

Seafoam with gray inside would look great, my next boat will be all gray.

JDd 04-25-2012 08:14 PM

Darker colors fade faster and show nicks, scrapes and scratches more than the pastel colors..

X2-- also on most models, color defines year model. when you sell or trade, the color could effect the price. i've gone with all white on my last two boats, that way i don't have to deal with the fading problem. JMO.

Get white of light grey. I own a 24' triton that is bright baby blue n it shows every nick scratch scuff ect. The white fiberglass will show thru the scratch on a colored hull

bjhooper82 04-25-2012 10:31 PM

Seafoam is my favorite also!!

Salty 04-25-2012 10:39 PM

150 Suzuki . I really can't spend the money on the 200 that I want and from the research that I have done I think for price, warranty, etc it is the one to go with.

SaltyShaw 04-25-2012 11:00 PM

You gettin the 21?
That 150 should push it fine I would think
Suzuki def the way to go 4 stroke IMO

Suzuki four strokes are the bomb.....they make a 175,should not be much more than the 150.

Sea Foam or Pank
Go wit da 175, you can park it at my house if ya don't have room.
What's a fifth boat in my yard? Does the HOA have a limit on the number of boats you can have in yo yard?

Blade is alot slimmer and way more low profile very good design, i would def go with a blade wether its 10' or 8' i love mine!
Plus the wireless C-Monster control system is awesome you no longer have to hold the button down for it to deploy you simply double tap it and it goes down on its on and shuts off. Same thing coming up. Also they have an app out on the droid market right now and they are working on an apple app that you can use your phone as a remote with the c-monster controls!

bsoileau 04-27-2012 06:49 PM

I'm going to go with the blue with grey inside and grey underneath the strip. It's not the dark blue but not the really light blue. Was gonna do they grey but after looking at it the inside grey would darker than the outside grey.

bsoileau 04-27-2012 06:50 PM

Wow messed that up. The grey color they use for the inside is darker than the grey on the outside so Kyle and I decided it probably wouldn't look good.

SaltyShaw 04-27-2012 06:58 PM

how much a difference is the 2 grays? i think it will look better than you think, my gray floor is way lighter than my gray outside and it looks good
you got any pics?

bsoileau 04-27-2012 07:00 PM

Yea if the outside was darker like yours then I would do it. The grey on the outside is lighter than u think on the frontier.
