Not trying to start a war between boats company's just looking for good info. Blackjack pros, cons and personal experience also motor choice Yam or Suz. Like I said just trying to find out serious good info. I seen one this morning and it caught my eye and they can be rigged with both motors. Thanks in advance for any info.

I had one years ago. Loved the boat, best riding boat I have been in period. Fishes well.

The black jack has a truly great ride.
|
Black jacks ride great Yam 250 all the way
|
Chief. Is the ride somewhat comparable to the frontier? Been in a Bj but not frontier.
|
Got a blackjack with 250 yam four stroke. love it. Bought used and have had 2 years now. I've had in past the 21 Astro,21 kenner and 21 champion. Love my blackjack the most by far. It feels as if I have 5 extra feet to fish with not 1.5. With no trim tabs its top end is 59 but mostly cruise 42-45. My guess is about 4mpg.

Very good boat w motor of your choice
|
Stick to the guys request.

I mean really BlackJack is one of the best boats you can buy, if it was 24' I would have one.
I would go with a Yammy 250 SHO or a Suzuki 250 SS Can't go wrong with either brand motor IMO but I def prefer Suzuki over other 4 strokes |
Blackjack will be my next Bayboat with a 250 Yamaha.
|
I have never been in a Blackjack but I saw one on Craigslist over in Houston a while back that was grey inside and out........that was one of the sharpest looking boats I have ever seen.

If I was in the market for a new boat, I would buy a blackjack!! Don't think I've ever here a bad thing about them.
|
I know they are nice, I just can't justify buying one as little as I get to fish. They do hold their value well too.

I've had my Blackjack for 1 1/2 years. Bought it new w/ a 225 Yamaha 4 stroke. Best boat I've ever had and will have, I hope. Great ride and looks. Can't go wrong. As folks have discussed, the K2 Marine is a little low tech but you can call and speak to Bill Kenner himself, if you have any questions about the boat.

I have had my BlackJack for almost 2 yrs now and I love it. I have the 250SHO on mine and I love it. It is a great riding boat and Bill Kenner does not take short cuts on this boat. Fit and finish is first class. I had a Bill Kenner Kenner 21V for 14 yrs before this and while it was a good boat, nothing like this BlackJack. It might only be 22'4" but it fishes more like a 24 footer to me. I also have never seen a white hull with the Grey interior. While the white is bright I do not find it blinding.

This is the gray I was talking about a little dark for me I would like something lighter. Sent from my iPhone 4 using Tapatalk |
I have a Grey one. Would have preferred white and seafoam, but grey doesn't show the dirt inside or out. Easy on glare too on the bright days. I am very happy with mine
