These pictures were taken on a tributary of the Mississippi River near Vicksburg, MS.
It gives you an idea of just how high the water got. For those of you in the North, alligators don't climb trees! |

Not to sound like a jerk but I posted those pictures a few weeks back and the game wardens that found it said the head was stuck in between some branches.

After Katrina I worked down by Point a la Hache all the way too Venice and most chain link fences would have dead gar stuck in the fences, but what stuck out most was a horse that got stuck up in a live oak tree. Had been there a few weeks:(
