I texted Anthony but not heard back.......They must of not had a good day or got into fish way to big....

Winds were kicking up

Saw Poe/Lee only had one fish and so did Cajun Phil...

But Poe had a big lead yesterday....

I think Nick and Lee pull it off for the win

1 fish at 9.21 pounds? If I'm reading it right that's solid.

Well, that did it for them. I'm sure they'll be tickled to find out you picked 'em.

I think Rue has it sewed up. He brought in 15+ pounds today. I think he's on them, and good. Also, the 3rd place team is on the door knocking. If it calms down tomorrow, they could still be there or higher. But, if Lee and Nick catch 2 7 pounders, they'll win it.

noodle creek 05-12-2012 03:36 AM

either way local guys are in it. anyone that fishes the lake as a guide ought to at least be able to weigh a fish

Top Dawg 05-12-2012 07:01 AM

Bluechip 05-12-2012 09:40 AM

not knocking no one: i figured johnny boy would have them in a fighting chance for at least top 10. Must be some tough conditions out there for the reds to be lockjawed.

ckinchen 05-12-2012 10:20 AM

our sponsor Lmc (david c) did not weigh any fish and is in 32nd.

"W" 05-12-2012 10:32 AM

I can say this about that redfishing ..... I consider myself a pretty good fisherman and every redifsh event I fished , catching reds is never the problem its finding those two perfect ones

Last two events we had two slot reds in the boats with In 10 cast .... But never the two logs you catch practicing

Tides change ,weather change ,water change and fishing pressure change

Like this year..before the event you could go to jetties and catch 200 reds all day on slot ,but day of event 35mph winds muddy water and so on

Not only that. They should also be expected to finish up in the standings.
