Grand Isle Beach 5-13-12

Decided to try the beach this afternoon water was stained and the tide was ripping with the west wind. I fished hard for a couple hours with only one speck then around 4:30 they turned on! All on topwater fishing bout waist deep towards the rocks. @Clampy you shoulda came down Attachment 34541 |

I cant wait either Chris!! I'm starting to have dreams.......ive customized my wade belt. It no longer holds extra rods and a tackle box. Ive attached coozies to it. I can go out and wade, have 8 beers and never have to walk back to the beach!!

Only problem is that the beers get hot!! Been there done that. LOL!!
Had to invest in one of those floating coolers. We nicknamed it "Trouble" cause that's what we got into w/ the wives after a long day surf fishing. LOL!!!
Need to get on some of that action soon. |

Dink I'm gonna have to come by and check out your wade belt so I can get some ideas. Gotta rig up my rolling icechest with some rod holders so I can hit the beach and the bridge. I am so pumped. Woo Hoo!!!!!
