I used to go on the Ocean Drake for Cheveron pretty often about 6-7 years ago and they had 3 of them out there training to be company women. All three were good looking women too.

i've been to EC-160 platform before, and been in the oilfield for a good while, never heard of a pink rig. Seems like if they did this for cancer awareness, it woulda been all over the news.

I agree, I've been around in the W.C. & E.C. areas for 12 yrs and never heard of any platform being painted that color. Not saying it ain't so, but sure think it would have been talked about.

KDM 06-12-2012 09:01 AM

I promise everyone of you a cold beer of your choice that the rig is there. I know someone who dove it week ago and it is pink all the way to the sea floor. He was a guest and did not get the rig number. Its in that general area of EC. If the weather permits I will get a pic this weekend and post it here.

Was he colorblind

I really I would like to see the save da ta tas on a rig

A guy I knew was colorblind and I think blue came in as pink

And I have wondered about this for a while. Would it interfere wit da safety Zones or would they b green

What about the lines on the deck the hands follow to the floor and the gally

Some would get lost.
