I like that set up.....very nice.

Are these kayaks more stable than a canoe or about the same?

BassYakR 06-21-2012 12:46 PM

I think a kayak is more stable if u get one that has a decent width. Thanx for the compliments guys

Purchased all that from west marine and had some camo thin rope i had already bought from walmart. I dont like to order kits i prefer to build my own stuff.

The problem I'm having is finding a kit that is worth paying for. That's all stainless?

BassYakR 06-21-2012 01:44 PM

Thanks buddy. Weedeater is on the fence between a Jackson Cuda and tarpoon. Maybe you can give him some insight.

The cuda hands down has the best seat in the market. Besides the pro angler and its 1200bux more so... Boat is very stable. And very fast for its weight.

I don't plan on going off shore in a yak but would you consider this one to be capable, I seen a YouTube video of some guys 20+ miles out.

What do y'all use for your fish when you catch em. A stringer, bag, ice chest, etc.........

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

SaltERedneck 06-22-2012 11:55 AM

stringer when sharks arent around lol.

BassYakR 06-22-2012 11:57 AM

I use that red cooler bag in my pics... Holds ice long enough for a fishin trip. If im in fresh water ill use a stringer but anywhere in salt i wont bc of sharks... Ive catch a shark as far north as lng

1fastmerc 06-22-2012 12:56 PM

Thanks. I'm sure I'll be bugging y'all for more tips.
