What y'all thinkin with the NE wind forecasted tonight and through the weekend?

If i could go i would

I passed by it tues and it looked horrible. Even tough the wind will be NE I think it will need more time to settle and clean up. But I'll prob go anyway.

Sunday and possibly Monday since I will be out of town on business.:pissed:
Figure a day and 1/2 to settle out.

Looks like there be a tropical system in the gulf this weekend.

3rd from hebert caught 27 specs all 3-6 pounds on live bait caught an 8 pounder tagged and released. Lots of specs stacked up there.

The Cheniere/ wounded warrior tournament will be going on. Weigh in on the west end of Johnson Bayou at mile marker 7. We will be accepting entries until 4 pm. which part of the lake then? cux the one im thinking of is hog gully area.

No caught them bout 100 yards off that weir..

ah yea there a reef tha is usually close to 100 to 200 yard away from one of the weirs. good fishing spot during sept and oct. im dying to go to holly beach but the damn winds been giving hell lately even the storms popping up near the coastline... looks like im gonna wait this out untill prolly august or sept. unless the winds dies down for a good while to have clear water and the specks are on fire then im hauling *** down there.

I passed by there Wednesday and it was nasty. It had a lot of clearing up to do.

See my post earlier. Got a friend that was there this morning. Several people fishing the rocks. Not great, but not terrible either. Decent incoming tonight and morning.

Beach report. 3 specs in the morning . Water is pretty along the jetties . By the beach is dirty.

just three... ur talking abt the jetties in cameron or the jetties along the shoreline past holly beach cux tha where were mostly talking abt is the ones tha are along the shoreline right after holly beach heading toward to johson bayou. man im having a hard time thinking if i sud take a chance on going way out there from lafayette but if just three its making me pace back and forth thinking sud i go or sud i not go. i pretty much rather go and catch over 15 or so than just 3 lol.

Got to Mayes Beach this afternoon around 4:45 and the water looked like espresso... fished for a minute w/ no luck. Water looked horrible all up and down hwy 82.... gonna take few more days 2 get clean.

also, surf is full of sea weed.... made fishing top water nearly impossible.

I was told water is stained...small rollers.

Yea. I'll be down there. If the beach ain't good may check out the channel.
