Chops in Broussard has the best I have had, they are always fresh and hot, Don's and Best Stop are awesome too, but found that Chops are always good, Dons and BS sometimes you get a bad batch

Never had Billeauds will try them:)

Poche's:confused: They don't have any meat on them:(

Ate some smoked boudin today in Gillis and it is my new favorite boudin place:grinpimp:

The BEST cracklins I have ever ate come from Famous foods in lake charles...they are called "soft and spicy" ....they are cracklins that are wet down with a spicy sauce almost like a buffalo sauce....and they are simply amazing... do yourself a favor and next time ya in LC..stop at famous foods off hwy 14/gerstner and try them...

yep and they will give you the bubble guts...lol I liked the dry cracklins better ....

curbapeal on here drives out of his way for cracklins...probably has a bag in his truck right now...

Billy's in Krotz Springs then the Best Stop. The worst has to be Rays on Hwy 182 in Opelousas. Don't waste your money on them.

Best stop. I agree the soft and spicy at famous are great, but if you eat some you better have and extra pair of drawers with you or close by cause you gonna need them.
