Headed to LA - Help!
 

Hi guys, my dad and I are headed to Lake Calcasieu tomorrow afternoon to fish for a few days and this will be our first time there. We typically fish Matagorda as my dad has a camp there but wanted to try something new as fun trip before I head off to start school at A&M. Is there anyplace we should try first or an area to target? Trout would be preferred but I like catching redfish too!!

I'm buying the book...Computers for Dummies this evening....I will be changing my name and picture shortly...I will be the hottest thing on the interweb and pack the freezer with hawgs....Don't hire a guide, hire a model to hold a peice of paper that says "Hey Salty Cajun, Help a girl out...I'm for reel! or (real)...Take pictures....Might even write..."Dubya, please don't 8 me!" or...."I always use an anchor, never a powerpole"....

First and only post. She says she's from Texas but has a picture of a red caught in front of mangroves. Didn't know tx had mangroves. And besides that picture has been on Florida sportsman "Women of Florida Sportsmen" for several years now

I agree with Pole_Benda. Apparently Texas really does have everything. They even have mangroves now! It doesn't take a very big spoon to stir the spot these days....
